Dr. Joseph B. Hackett
Dr. Joe first decided to become a Chiropractor in the seventh grade. By that time chiropractic had already solved numerous health problems in his life including severe migraines that interfered with every aspect of his life.
Education:
Dr. Joe began his undergraduate studies at Eastern Michigan University and graduated with honors for his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at Life University School of Undergraduate studies. He then completed the four year graduate program for chiropractic at Life University Chiropractic School in Marietta, GA.
His physical therapy certification was completed at a branch of Brenau University in GA.
Licensure/Certification:
Clinical chiropractic proficiencies were obtained and completed concurrently with studies in the last two years of the chiropractic program. Parts I, II, and III of the Chiropractic National Boards were successfully completed. Dr. Joe was also tested for proficiency in physical therapy by the Chiropractic National Board of Examiners. After completing his internship in Palm Coast, FL, he went on to successfully complete the Florida Chiropractic State Board Examination.
Professional Experience:
Dr. Joe gained a tremendous amount of insight while working as an associate chiropractor for a successful practice in the Orlando area.
The Big Step:
After gaining much needed experience he began looking for an ideal location to start his practice. He filled in for different chiropractors all over the State of Florida gaining more experience and learning about the different areas of FL. When he found Sarasota, he knew he was home.
Dr. Joe's Purpose As Your Chiropractor:
As a Chiropractic Physician, he is trained in evaluating and treating a number of different conditions that fall into the chiropractic spectrum. His patients are referred out for further diagnostic testing in the event that a potential condition is revealed that may be outside of the scope of chiropractic treatment. He had strong relationships with various health care providers in the medical community to help further meet the needs of his patients.
